Jaquard Silk
As most of y'all know, in Malaysia, Thursdays are supposed to be Batik's Day. The instructions were given out on January 15th 2008 via a Service Circular Letter No.1 Year 2008. As a Malaysian where Batik is a national heritage, I personally feel this is for a very good cause and it kills two birds with one stone. It'll give support and in time help the Batik industry (and the Batik makers) to grow and prosper which in turn will ensure that the heritage will keep on going and not disappear with time and modernism.
With that said, do you own any batik clothing yet? If you or anyone you know haven't owned any yet then you should get one of these below. If you would like to add to your collection then you are most welcome to do so ;)
These are JACQUARD SILK which means its silk with a touch of jacquard, a weaving technique which actually makes the fabric more durable, so you'll have a garment that is not so "manja" and have to be taken with "extra extra" care as silk and due to the silk properties you'll also have a garment that won't sweat you out and make you feel uncomfortable. I say, it's the best of both worlds! Soo... what d'you say?
Oh and btw, we are selling these off for stock clearance coz my mum bought wayy too much when we got them in Terengganu. So we are selling them for a very special price and enjoy a FREE postage! ;)

*If you notice, the colours actually differ a BIT when taken outdoors. This is due to the glare of the sun/light. And also this fabric is actually an intricately woven (Jacquard weaving) shiny fabric with a tonal design woven in which creates the effect of a 'shadow' pattern or print (Taken fromwww.goldsilks.net)
*The actual colours are closest to the pictures taken indoors.
